Dear Friends,
If your students use Google to access educational websites like Señor Wooly, then you're likely already aware of the changes coming on October 23 that could impact your students' ability to log in.
Here is the situation:
Starting October 23, Google will require schools to formally approve all third-party apps (like Señor Wooly) in order to continue using Google's SSO log-in features. Put another way, if your school has not approved SenorWooly.com by October 23, your students will no longer be able to log in.
We didn't make this rule, I swear!
However, the situation is not quite as dire as it sounds. In this newsletter, I will walk you through two pieces of important information:
1) What your school/district needs to do in order to formally approve Señor Wooly.
2) How to easily convert your student accounts to a different log-in method in case Google becomes inaccessible.
All the best,
Jim Wooldridge
