Questions about La lucha de la limonada?
How is La lucha de la limonada connected to ¿Puedo ir al baño?
It’s the prequel to ¿Puedo ir al baño?, revealing what happened to Justin before the original story.
Do students need to see ¿Puedo ir al baño? first?
Not necessarily, but we recommend it. La lucha de la limonada works as a standalone story, though the final panel includes a callback to ¿Puedo ir al baño? that lands better if students already know the original. The ideal order is to experience ¿Puedo ir al baño? first, then circle back to the prequel.
Which proficiency level should I choose for my students?
As a general guide, Novice Low works well for Spanish 1, Novice Mid for Spanish 1–2, Novice High for Spanish 2–3, and Intermediate Low for Spanish 3–4.
But proficiency levels don’t map perfectly onto course levels, and students in the same class won’t always read at the same level. We recommend having a selection of editions so you can match the book to the needs of different students.
Are the four versions the same story?
Yes. The story stays the same, while the language is rewritten for each proficiency level.
Do you offer printed versions at all four proficiency levels for all your books?
No. La lucha de la limonada was a unique experiment, and probably not one we’ll repeat. Printing four separate editions of every story simply isn’t feasible for us.
However, Señor Wooly subscribers get digital versions at all four proficiency levels for all of our graphic novels.
Is there a lesson plan?
Yes. Señor Wooly subscribers get a free 3-day lesson plan, available on the website and not sold separately in the store.

I am blown away...again. The content you produce is STELLAR. I bought all four levels because I was excited to see the difference between the levels. The language differences are terrific. The story is AWESOME. I forgot as I was reading that it was a prequel, so the last page (which connects the novel and the song) was a bomb dropping. So funny! I laughed out loud multiple times.
I really don't know how you manage to impress and surprise so consistently. Every. Single. Time. Thank you and the whole team for this IMPRESSIVE novel!
